Default NRG Grounding kit

I'm thinking about getting the NRG grounding kit, but I just want to make sure it has no fading issues first. Does anyone have the NRG that can let me know how theirs held up? Thanks

GO TO EBAY, dude ( i can get name for you or just search for kits) makes nice kit for dirt cheap...ignore the haters, your ish will look like an unpacked bomb when its done...as for last time I posted it, here is my bay again last season b4 some other goodies

Numbered and easy install, it will not boost you through the sky in power, but some note help w idle stumble, I did it bc of N2o and eventual audio etc....note the bolt in my intake for n2o, and drill holes where n2o box mounts to firewall, lol

I have made plenty of these going to menards, all you need is terminal and decent grounding cable...these finished kits just look a hell of a lot nicer..depends on form or function

Honestly, with a grounding kit I'm looking for more form than function. I don't expect much in the aspect of gains from a grounding kit lol. As long as it doesn't fade and looks good I'll take it. I will check out this grounding kit your talking about though thanks for the suggestion

IMO , if its your thing get the cheapist one you can find. I have also been thinking about installing a few fresh wires, can't hurt, but don't want the huge snaggle of crap under the hood.

Yeah I wasn't looking to spend like >$100 on a Stillen or HKS grounding kit. Seems kind of silly. I was just looking to do some work in my engine bay and make it look clean. I had the pop charger but just ordered an Injen intake because I'm going to polish my plenum and I thought they went together well. Figured I'd get some samco hoses and a grounding kit in blue, and paint my engine cover, battery cover, and brake fluid cover silver with blue lettering. I'll also look into a Greddy or Cusco strut tower bar because of the color scheme. I want it to look somewhat simple, but clean

What I did was I looked up the instructions on Stillen's website to find the points that they used to ground in the engine bay, then made my own.

12 feet of 4 awg (it's more than you need, but it's better to have more then need more)
5 4 awg ring terminals
5 1/0 awg ring terminals

The 1/0 terminals are used because you'll have a some spots where you'll have 2 runs to 1 point. 2, 4 awg wires fit into 1, 1/0 ring terminal.

I also upgraded the main engine ground, starter, and alt wire to 1/0 wire

Also find yourself some techflex insultherm.

I would suggest the Max Ground kit from Z-Enterprises....very long lasting & made with the best parts available. It's more expensive than their Earth Ground kit but IMHO well worth the money.....I see you have 2 threads going?

Yeah the other one was originally for some ebay item that turned out to be crap. I posted about the NRG kit as a reply to that but I figured nobody would see that so I just made a new one for this one specifically

Go to car audio shop, buy yourself some 4 gauge or 8 gauge power wire in your choice of colors, and buy some matching ring terminals..

Cut wire to length you want, install ring terminals and voila! Custom made engine grounding kit.
