Default Burnt clutch smell

I have a modded 04 350 with 17k mi. A few years back I could smell what appeared to be that burn clutch smell when I really got on it. The clutch was not slipping but the smell was of clutch. So I had my shop replace clutch with a new JWT clutch/flywheel combo kit. The smell never went away. I just started car up for the new season and could smell that smell on idle. I took it to a local garage and they thought that it was defineately the clutch. I dont get it. The clutch is new. I also noticed that when I down shift and the car revs above 4k I can smell it as well. The smell is defineately comming from underneath car. The clutch does not appear to be slipping. Is this my clutch or something else?

Not sure what you are doing. Look at the friction surface on the pressure plate. Is it worn?
