Default i need a rev limiter. help.

like the title says i NEED a rev limiter. when i practice drifting my rpms tend to go past 7k rpm and i dont notice the shift light blinking for a moment. (im gonna move the shift light to 6500 for now) i would like to limit the rpm so it doesnt climb too high and blow something in my motor (not sure if possible).
couple related questions;
1. does the car have a stock rev limiter of any sort?
2. is hitting 7500 rpm for 2 seconds bad? (all stock 06 revup)
3. what are some good aftermarket rev limiters for the z? i dont see as much talk about them as i would think.
yes i searched! https://my350z.com/forum/search.php?searchid=14479572

FYI the rpm gauge reads at least 500rpm higher than reality up top.

UpRev Osiris tune can set your rev limit. Tuner version will allow you to change it to whatever you want.

The red flash is just and indicator. U can adjust that with the buttons on your display. Means nothing. U can set that at 1k rpm if want....

Its limiter kicks in at red line
