yea, it deff needs some tuning, that was the first drive around so there is alot of small things needing tweeked..hopefully soon its running well!

YESSIR! waiting on one 90degree piece of intercooler piping then its ready to tune and test drive for a week...then im going to go and pick it up! (if everything goes well lol *crossing fingers*)

You can have a licensed driver drive your vehicle, but to be on the safe side you would want to have him/her on your policy until your license is fully reinstated. Glad that you got that behind you(suspension), enjoy that beast

 

well guys, Tony started tuning the car.....hit boost and blew the turbo up.....sooooooooo, im in the hunt for a new turbo now! hit me up if you have anything for sale!

 

phooey. I've got two "545 hp" t3/t4 turbos for sale (brand new actually) for cheap. Pretty sure it's not what you are looking for, but they are 3431e precisions, only problem is the a/rs are kind of small, and 5 bolt exhaust housings.
But if you are interested lmk (it'd make tons of lowend/midrange)

 

i just wanted top say thanks to everyone who messaged me with turbos for sale or information towards turbos for sale!

i did end up finding a turbo to fit what i needed! brand new, still in the box GT4088R for a grand right here in Pittsburgh...couldnt pass up the deal!

 

so, Tony recieved my new turbo on Thursday eve...friday i got this pic sent to me of them test fitting the new turbo

He has to change the T3 flange out for the new T4 turbo and then make the exhaust and intercooler piping match up.



i also got this pic of my old pic labeled "cold blooded murder" lol, it made me laugh haha

How does that turbo fit? Is there room for a bigger turbo? Can you get more pics with different angles? Pulling the trigger when I get back from Miami since things didn't go as planned, starting this earlier than expected.

 

So sick to see the Z's battery and reservoir covers with a 2jz

 

+1, if i ever build another z, itll be a 2jz one. travis, you ever get that trans? still want me to see what i can do?

 

there should be no issue with clearance... the motor sits sooooo low in the Z, as soon as Tony gets the turbos mounted i will have him snap pics!


Tony hasnt said anything else about it so i assume he must have backed out on it...but i did see it posted up on facebook and a few other forums...i cant see why it wouldnt already be gone at this point...
