I am trying to get vendors and manufacturers to give me info on hard parts available for the VQ35 shortblock. If this is already being done please let me know.

Info from Crower today:

4340 steel billet con rods run $1047 and take 8 weeks to make.

Custom pistons, pins, rings and locks run $942.

Stock samples required.

Check out sgpracing.com. They have rods, pistons (low and high compression), valve retainers and more.

 

For pistons I would contact CP. They make a great product and are quick with custom jobs!

 

The pistons from SGP are made by CP!!! Does anyone know of a vender that has steel valves already manufactured!!!

 

May as well call CP directly and skip the middle man.

Thanks for suggesting REV Valves !! They said they could make a set in 3 days ! I'm fedx'ing a couple stock vales to them today and they are giving me a choice of materials to use. Thanks again.

 

we'll have the CP stuff on our site by weeks end as well BTW...current lead time is about 3.5 weeks though.
