Question Short Ram vs. Cold Air

Hey guys, I'm new to the whole intake thing but have to decided to purchase an Injen intake to complement my future Injen exhaust. Can you explain to me the difference between the short ram set up and the cold air set up? What are the advantages of each? Which set up will complement my exhaust more? Thanks in advance!

Short ram set-up has a shorter intake tube thus the saying is that it sucks in more hot "under the hood" air versus the CAI which sucks in air usually at the front bumper of a car getting more cold air. For the Z, so far the JWT Popcharger has been shown to be the best air intake. It uses the stock intake tube as well which is superior than any aftermarket ones.

with the sri you have no chance of hydrolock....which you would have with the cai unless there is a bypass valve
