Default OS Giken STR2CD Twin Disk Ckutch Kit

I purchased the kit from Zspeedperformance, through Joe, including the kit that makes this performance clutch function properly, like the Wilwood MC, and the HD CSC. I'm not clueless on clutches, just trying to get answers on installing this product. BTW, my kit didn't come with instructions.
Now here's the question, "Do I need to use the same bolts from the stock flywheel, or purchase a new set?" and "Do I still need to use a bearing or not or whatever to make this function properly?"

This is going on a Stock '08 350Z Nismo V. (US Spec) #1579

Yes you should still grease it, I'm guessing its still going to have timing marks where to line it up at on the flywheel as well. And it depends on the clutch whether you use the OEM flywheel bolts or not. For my Z I bought the ARP flywheels bolts.

BUT big factor here I had a OS Giken Super Single on my SR and I had to use OS Giken flywheels bolts because they were longer than the OEM ones. I'd check into that before installing.

I'll be sure to look into that silverstone, thanks for the warning on the bolts, now I'm going to figure out the fluid, because DOT 3&4 isn't going to work for me. Thanks

Thumbs up O.S. Giken STR2CD Summary

First of, I'd like to thank Joe at Zspeed, my brother, and my cousin.

Now that, that's out of the way, the install took three days. Don't ask why? (I did not have all the right tools).

Moving on....and I didn't take pictures either, my bad.
You will need a star looking Hex Allen Wrench...

What ever you do, please have another socket set available, with all the socket size available. I

Box wrenches, and a torque wrench...
This clutch gots bite;,drag, drift, and whatever you do on a daily.

I sound like a damn noob, trolling in here. The rest you already know; from safety, support (if not on a lift) jack stands, or hollow blocks, and what ever would prevent you from being crushed by your own car, with misaligned support. Just saying.

Normally, people would wait until after a few hundreds of miles after the clutch install, but I second that motion. My brother and I took my car to the open track, then later decided to hit the local drag track; which by the way was open for testing, and I happened to enter with no fee...upon pulling up to the line up, there sat an S14 drag ready, gutted out, the whole 9 yards. The wheels on the S14 was pre-heated and set to go. I had a different set of shoes on my Z, with nankang II something of that nature. I didn't beat the guy in the S14, but found out, I had way better torque, than stock. From 1st to 3rd gear, my Z sat, so I eased of the throttle...I'll make sure to use some slicks next time....

The O.S. Giken STR2CD clutch kit is indeed worthy for street, everyone else claims that the clutch is like a damn shark, when easing of the clutch, which is true, but I love that bite. Some drivers, assume that I can't drive my car, because of the jerkiness (if that's a word).
