190 kmh is pretty low, I know Japan has built in speed limiters to about 112 mph or 180 kmh. If you ever done motor swaps for honda's you know this speed limiter well.
So maybe they don't see it fit to make a speedo that reads higher from the factory. Which would explain why nismo would release a speedo that reads up to 300kmh.
Oh and here is a picture of the nismo steering wheel. *no airbag*

I beleive the wheel that tony posted is the wheel I am importing... I will double check with my catalog... ordered way to many parts toremember...
as far as the price.. if importing is as much as I think it will be our prices shoud hopefully be around what japan parts was but the parts will already be in the states... buying from them is shipping from japan still correct?

I wouldnt ditch the airbag unless you install a harness. The factory seat belt will not keep you from hitting the steering wheel in an impact.
I plan to get that wheel but I want the Recaro SRD seat and a takata harness before hand.

so japan parts really is in Japan... so shipping from them is EXPENSIVE? correct??
I have my buyer looking out for the JDM steering wheel... I wonder if the air bag would even work in our cars being completely different ECU's though...

we've sold a few sets of the gauges and MOMO wheels..the MOMO has the airbag, but does not havea provision for cruise control
Gauges are nice for the hardcore show car guys...very expensive is an understatement!

The way I value mods..
Performance = best ones and worth more money are the ones that make most power...
Visual mods = I wont do a visual mod unless I see it regularly... To see big black nismo wheels every time I get into my car makes me feel mushy in side... thile driving... seeing a Nismo Gauge every single time I look down and out of the corner of my eye... it is worth it... Id spend $ on a gauge before a body kit any day...

I really want those NISMO seats. IT appears as though in addition to the seats we'll have to buy the brackets to install them as well...
Does anyone know if the NISMO seats offer any weight savings over the stock ones? Maybe I'll go with Sparco, Recaro or even Momo... still not sure...
I don't want to hijack the thread, I'll start a new seat thread.
