Disk flaw...Still usable?
There is a JWT clutch and FW for sale but the disk has taken what looks like a drop or a hit from something and now has a defect.
Is this still usable?
Is this still usable?

Can't really see that detail in the pic, and thought it was only the frayed edge that was a concern. If the rivet is cracked, and there's a possibility of the friction material separating from the backing plate, that's a whole different matter, and I would probably not use that disk. Lots of labor to install that part, as compared to the low cost for a new, undamaged part.

True. I ended up sending this pic to JWT and they had an engineer look at it. He was able to see the crack since he got the full file and said he didnt recommend using it. Not worth the what if, if it turned out bad.
Thanks for the feedback.
