Default Installed DNX CAT Back....LOUD

I received my 3" system last week from DNX. I met Ryan from DNX at SEMA. Really nice guy, anyways he said he would send out the system for me to try out and to get some feed back.

First of all this system is LOUD. It won't be for everyone. I don't even know if I will keep it on that long. Install of the system was a breeze. Taking off the stock system was the most time consuming. Total install time was an hour and a half.

The only problem I had was that the heat shield that goes around the charcoal filter had to come off. It was right up against muffler. I am still waiting to hear back from DNX on this issue.

The system is highly polished and stainless, so it should hold up pretty good. I will try and get you guys a sound clip.

For now pix will have to do.
If anyone lives in the area and would like to see or hear it, just PM me.

Let me know what you think.

I would never put coffee cans on a Z (just my opinion)

Glad you like it though!

Ryan @ DNX sent the system out for evaluation purposes.
I'll leave it on for a while to get some feedback from the local meets.

I plan on taking the Z to Labree Motorsports for a custom job in the future.

I agree with you on the look.

What exhaust are you planning to get?

I want to go with his test pipes w/resonators, and custom from there back. My goal is to keep the rear end as clean as possible. Something like the RS-R that is not available here. The muffler is underneath the car where the mid pipe is and split coming out of the rear.

are you going to get it dyno tested? Also, I like this exhaust very much. Can you give me the contact info for Ryan at DNX?

That's what I was thinking, except the tips looks more straight cut than angle cut.
