A/T and M/T drive/propshafts same length?
Anyone know if theres any difference between the manuals and automatics drive/propshaft?
Under the car it looks like theres 2 different locations where the tranny mount goes (2 x 4 bolt holes in the floor). Im about to swap a VH45 in my 350Z but if possible i would like to move the engine further back so that the weight distribution dont get too(oooo) messed up. My idea is that if the rear set of bolt holes is for the auto then i might be able to get a auto shaft for my manual and move the tranny (and engine) abit further back.

PROBLEM SOLVED!
A quick search in the FSM index (IDX) guided me to the propeller shaft (PR) and on the last page it says, and i quote:
"Shaft length (Spider to spider) mm (in) MT 1321 (52.007) AT 1283 (50.512)" - Yey, giving me an extra 38mm to play with!
