Default Help identifying cd009

I have been looking all over every site I can think of trying to find out about cd009 swaps. There are a ton of threads but none that I can find that can help me choose which year cd009 I need. My z is a 2003. I know that the slave cylinder changed in 2007. Can I use a 2007 trans or does it have to be a 2005.5-2006?

Also is there a way to look at a transmission (ebay pics) and see if it's a 009? Besides the obvious sticker and casting numbers of course.

Looks like at this link I should be able to swap my cd001 bell housing and slave cylinder, throw out bearing, and associated parts over to the 07 trans I'm looking at. Anyone have some input?

Am I correct that I can still use my DE clutch?
