Default Turbo Manifold

Hey guys this is a long shot of a question. I was looking at the megan headers and thought if i cut off the end if the flange, and did a 90 degree bend and welded a t3 flange to it and bolt the turbo. Skip the hole process of tig welding a whole new manifold. As long as the the flange is stainless steel, it the weld should hold with the flange. Back in the day turbo guys did this, and i know the corvette ls guys did this with their stock manifold. any thouhghts??

Anything possible. You just gatta watch the flux and make sure your welds and design is up to snuff of that turbo ganna be fallin out your engine bay into the street.

Also flow is really important. So just booger welding on on isn't exactly going to get you top performance.
