Default Need new clutch info jwt maybe?

The time has come that I am in need of a new clutch on my 04 Z. I can tell my disk is worn and starting to slip. I am interested in the JWT clutch/ flywheel combo mostly because I trust JWT products with my past experience and also because idk of many other options. I am looking for something that will last me for a long time and also hold up to any mods I might do. I have found this set-up on many sites advertised for a listed price of $775 but on the JWT site it is only $549. Is this not the same product? Also, how much power is this kit good for?

That's true but a JWT clutch with an iron SMF has its advantages and tradeoffs:

Reduced flywheel chatter while at the same time, not exactly giving the car the "quicker rev up" that a light weight flywheel might produce.

Easier engagement (more friendly in traffic) with an easier cruising attitude.

Arguably, longer life. (Debateable that one, but I'll take it.)

I've run light flywheels on the street before and didn't like them so for me (and ME ONLY), the nodular iron flywheel works best. Just put one into my son's car, an '07 HR and its got great feel, relatively little chatter/noise (HR with manual already has that rocks-in-a-cement-mixer noise), smooth operation.

Unless you're going FI where torque is going to go through the roof, a JWT clutch should handle just about anything NA you can throw at it. (And bolt-ons aren't going to push your motor beyond the clutch for sure.)

I do plan to boost and I don't want to have to get another clutch when I do. I don't understand this "chatter" everyone mentions why does it do that?

okay so maybe I don't want a lightweight flywheel, that sounds terrible but I want to have a 400 whp daily and am going to need some setup that can support that. any suggestions
