So the clutch on my 06 350z is done for and was planning on getting an excedy stage 2 but the thing is I'm planning on swapping the engine out later for the hr, will the clutch and fly wheel still work on different year engines or will it need to be replaced for one that is speciffic for it? I've contacted except but no response back

 

HR swap is economically not feasible - research and find out why. The DE and HR clutch parts are not interchangeable, to answer your specific question.
