Cold Start Up Whine
hey guys, trying to figure out what's going on with the car lately and I can't seem to find out on any forums.
2007 350z 49,000 I just recently replaced the clutch kit. And put a z1 Lightweight Flywheel and replaced the slave cylinder.
Break in period is over about 1,000 miles and now only in the morning or first start up. The car makes a whirling or whine When the clutch is not engaged ( so just idling) and the noise disappears when the clutch is in. We rebled the clutch multiple times to ensure the air bubbles are gone.
Also when driving I'm assuming its normal but the car whines under acceleration from 2-3000 rpm but disappears after 3rd gear.
When the car is fully warmed about driving for about 30 minutes. It disappears completely.
My main concern would be why is the tranny whining without the clutch in?

i have ruled out anything. Only thing is that I press the clutch and the growl goes away. In idle. It'll growl. While driving in low gear 1000-3000 it whines pretty notiable.
It happened after 1400 miles after the install with a proper break in period.
We JUST replaced aces the slave again but with a Zspeed CMAK. And it's still doing it. It's weird how when the clutch is in. It goes away. It's killing me and no one on Facebook or forums really knows what it could be
