Default Clutch Pedal Soft When Cold

Hey all
2003 Z.

Got My clutch swapped out with a Z1 set up and car works great.
Lately when I turn on the car, I notice the pedal is mushy and almost no resistance half way in, then it has some resistance as I keep pushing to engage gear. Also the clutch engages early (within 3" of releasing pedal), compared to almost at the top like before.
After about 10 minutes of driving, the car returns to normal as if nothing is wrong.

I tried searching but most people have issues when the car has been running and gets hot.

Any ideas?

I would guess that there's either air in your system, or that your slave cylinder is failing... Did you try bleeding it?

Sounds like one of the variety of clutch pedal issues Z's are known for. First, bleed the system with good fluid. Try an SS line while you're at it got mine for $30. Then I also adjusted the clutch from the adjusting point on top of the pedal. If that doesn't work replace the slave.

Assuming you have it fixed by now but sounds like the clutch master cylinder is dying.
