Default Another oil pressure sensor question....

Ok...I broke the mounting threads for the oil pressure sensor yadda yadda yadda....I bought the new upper oil pan and got the old one removed. Before installing the new pan I'm trying to put the new sensor on. I tried two different sensors and both won't screw in more than halfway without excessive force. So my question(s), how far should this sensor screw in? Am I doing something wrong? Do I have the wrong sensor? I'm stumped. I'm lost. I miss my Z! 😔 Please help! (2003 350z).

I also tried Duralast PS561 from Autozone (the one pictured is Intermotor and came from Amazon).

Yep that's all it needs to go in and the FSM says to use a thread sealant.
