Default Twin turbo 350z won’t rev past 2000 rpm

Car has 1500 miles on twin turbo and forged motor build. Ran fine at first after the build, then developed a fuel leak that prevented the car from starting and it sat for a few months. Just fixed the leak and the car started right up but it won’t rev past 2000 rpms and the vdc, slip, and service engine soon lights are on. Any idea what could be the problem or any idea how to go about fixing this? Already cleaned the maf sensor and tried resetting the ecu.

Sounds like limp mode.

Gatta find out what's putting it in limp mode. Get a code reader and read us the codes.

Hey just wanted to update the thread in case any one else ever comes across this. Hooked up a code reader and got a lot of codes relating to the tps so I checked that and one of the wires wasn’t in all the way. Plugged that in and it still didn’t fix it but it made me realize one of the tubes was loose and leaking boost near the intake. Tightened it up and ran like a charm!
