Question about radiator differences
well, my radiator on my AT Z went ouch, need a new one.
im in search of one, but the ones I am looking at says MT on it or doesn’t specify. Is there a clear difference between AT and MT radiators?
I found mixed answers online. I don’t want to waste any money.
thank you.
Edit: *i figured it out, already bought one online*

You need a AT one. Most generic and OEM radiators are MT/AT.
The only difference is the AT able ones have both coolant hose hook ups, and nipples closer to the middle on the bottom for trans coolant lines for your tranny. MT's don't need that. AT's do.
So if you get a radiatior with the center nipples it will work. Other than that there is no difference.

What CK said. An options if you dont get a radiator with the AT cooler you can always add a small oil cooler / trans cooler to accomplish the transmission cooling duties.
