Default Bouncing idle

Ok guys and gals, was greeted with a problem starting my car today. Got in, pushed the clutch and turned the key, and the car went dead. Interior lights, everything.

Got out, checked battery cables, seemed tight, went to get jumper cables. When I got back to the car, noticed interior lights were on again. Started car, noticed it would idle bouncing from about 1100 rpms to about 2000. It's like I'm giving the gas pedal a good tap whenever the rpms drop to 1100.

Figured it had something to do with an ECU reset and would work itself out on my way to work. Noticed while driving, my radio, trip odometers, and timers on multigauge had all reset. On stops on my route and at work, saw that it still has the bouncing idle.

Car does have bolt-ons and a tune for almost a year, but have had no problems. It is an 05 RevUp.

put 500miles on the car and it'll level out ... the dead battery reset the fuel trims and it's gotta relearn.

So I went out at lunch and unhooked the battery for a full reset. Went back out with a wire brush an hour later. Scrubbed what looked like already clean battery posts and connections.

Started the car, and it was back to normal. Don't know if resetting the ECU or the wire brush fixed it.

that's not really resetting the ECU but keep an eye on it and report back ... you'll be ok
