Default mystery machine strikes again help lol

Soooo after about 6 months of fighting myself I finally got my 03 touring running! Only to have a whole lotta problems. First got it running seemed to run fine (when I say this I mean idle haven't got the tags updated so it doesn't leave the drive) was throwing a knock sensor code and a cam sensor code. Replace the knock sensor harness and the cam sensor along with valve cover gaskets fixed a wire going to the injector plug and intake gaskets. Put it all back together and the codes went away but that was short lived as I got a p0300. First thing I did was start pulling coil pack plugs found that 1&2 made no difference. Swapped the coil and the plug from the other side and still no change I did a compression check right before the car got running but I had cranked the car a lot and it came back good don't remember the numbers off hand but can get them. The tank has been cleaned with almost a 1/2 of a tank of fresh gas. Plugs are new. Back story got the car from a guy the motor wasn't in the car kid said it ran so I took his word no clue how long its been sitting or anything like that was supposed to have low miles and everything under the covers was spotless. Anyone have any suggestions as what to check? Will be working on it this weekend will update.

Swap a working coil to cylinder 1 and see if a misfire code follows that coil...

btw - don't trust people, cause most are shady.

What's the compression # on cylinder 1? You said you had it, right?
