Default Obsolete Wiring Removal in Engine Bay

How do you all delete obsolete wires in your engine bay? My heat/AC system, windshield wipers/fluid tank, etc. has all been deleted and I want to clean up my engine bay.

Some good stuff on the subject in the my350Z annals.

Understand what it is, what it does, and how it functions, wire by wire, and act accordingly. If you cannot make sense of those three items, you should not be touching it.

I think you’re looking for a wire tuck more than deletion.

That said if you want to delete sht. Find what wires do what, splice and remove what you don’t need. It’s pretty simple. Doesn’t need power? Trash it.

The fun of finding out which exact wire does what is on you.

disconnect battery
cut plugs off
fold back each wire individually and heat shrink.

(i actually deleted my stock narrowband o2 sensor wires and only use from from my maf. I also shortened my wire harness when i routed it to the back)
