Default Overheating

So I just put a motor in from my wrecked 350z started it up and it didn’t overheat got down the street maybe 2-4 mins and it starts shooting up in temps, I put a thermostat in I had laying around still no fix. tried to bleed the system but still no luck?? I’m stuck on what to do my radiator is quite new and head gasket and water pump is ruled out cuz everything was working before and after my accident has anybody experienced this overheating only when driving I also have no heat coming through my vents at all

ps My fans are also working both of them

You still have air in the system, will take time to work it out. There are numerous threads on how to accomplish this. It is a pain the in butt but just take your time.

+1. This system is EXTREMELY finicky. The fact that your heat is blowing cold is the biggest sign of air. Buy a oil-free funnel, jack the front of the car up, and follow the steps in the FSM. When you think you have all the air out, bleed it again.

But hey! At least you got down the street ... more than what most guys that overheat can say!!!

Fans dont do anything above 20-30mph...(except get in the way)
