Vlsd Gear

Can I take a Vlsd gear out of a manual diff and swap it into an open manual diff?

the diff yes, but no point, just swap the whole pumpkin.

Well i bought a spare open diff to weld and the guy gave my a vlsd diff with it so i was just going to seap it into the open pumpkin for now and use it until I get a real lsd diff for my other pumpkin

Oh so you bought just the diff itself? Is so you will need at least one stub axle. Better of welding your open diff. Now if you have the whole pumpkin its a straight swap.
