Need Help MT Swap
Hello, I have a 2003 enthusiast with a Auto transmission, and I am currently getting all the parts for my manual conversion. I've looked at this thread, https://my350z.com/forum/engine-driv...de-thread.html and I'm trying to figure out how to do the ecu and wiring, I'm hoping to keep the same wiring harness but am kinda new to wiring and ecu stuff, but I would like to keep my miles on my odometer and somehow bypass the cruise control and safety switch on the clutch pedal. If anyone could help me figure if I need to reflash the ecu or a different ecu or whichever? it would be much appreciated.
You probably need to get a 6mt wiring harness ... would make your life easier when it comes to the neutral position sensor (you may be able to just run a single wire to the ECU??
Why do you want to bypass the cruise control?
I dont know that you can bypass the position sensor on the clutch pedal without causing issues in the ECU.
I believe you will need a 6MT ecu
I know one person who has done this in the past and it's not a common swap so prepare yourself for a learning curve.

in trying to bypass both of the switches on the clutch pedal because I bought an aftermarket clutch pedal and have no switches, and would also like to be able to start the car without stepping on the clutch and don’t really care about losing cruise control if need be
