aftermarket valve covers

i’ve been suggested to get aftermarket aluminum valve covers when replacing my gaskets. why aren’t the oem serviceable and why can’t i just reuse the oem covers.

Why aren't they serviceable? Ask Nissan.
Why can't you reuse? Cause if the spark plug tubes are leaking it's forever.
