Default throttle position sensor

I hooked up my G35 6MT sedan to a OBD-II data logger to check out what was going on and to compare intake air temps using pop charger with a stock G. I logged about an hour's worth of driving. While doing this I found that the maximum throttle position I ever recorded was 86% (even with a long period of WOT, starting at low RPM in 6th gear). My question for others that have monitored their ODB-II data on their Z or G is: "is that normal"... or should I actually see 100% at WOT?

Thanks.

There are a couple threads on here. To answer your question. They all saw the same thing.

I did a search before posting and found one thread that discussed it but didnt have much detail. I believe it was zzzya that posted:

Have there actually been cases in the past where Nissan cars have had the throttle body *not* open 100% when the pedal is pressed all the way down?? [/B]
Yes, the 350Z! It is already known that the throttle body does not open up 100%. This is controlled by the ECU and Technosquare has fixed this issue with their ECU upgrade among other things for $599. I have strongly considered getting the Technosquare upgrade but would rather have something I can tune myself someday.
It didn't say whether 86% was normal or 99% or what. I was searching for "throttle position sensor obd." If there is a thread that says more, please point me to it.

Can't seem to find the other one, but I know there were at least two threads.

During full throttle runs, I never exceed 82% full throttle.

I know there was at least one more, and the best another member could get was in the 80%'s also.
