Nismo R-Tune Rip
This months issue of Sport Compact Car test a fully preped R-Tune 350Z...
Nismo Cams
Nismo Intake
Nismo Headers
Nismo Exhaust
Nismo Flywheel & Clutch
and a bunch of other Nismo items...
The result, a total whapping 11hp and 5lb-ft of torque...
That's just funny... Imagine the look on the guys face after he dumps over 5K for those gains...

JWT intake ($100), UR Pulley ($200), testpipes or highflow cats($450), Borla exhaust($600). That's about $1,350 plus installation if you're not DIY it for N/A gains. That should get you 250 rwhp. Beyond that, you can do cams and headers which will run you several thousand dollars more for another 10-20 hp at 260-270 rwhp. Oh, and a plenum for a few hundred that will get you in that 260-270 rwhp range.
There comes a point at about 250 rwhp that it doesn't make sense to go the N/A route and if you still want more hp/tq, you must go FI. The trick is, not to waste money on crap that wont get you farther than that 250 rwhp mark. By the time you're at 250, if you want more, the hp/$ ratio will be good only if you go FI. The rest of the N/A mods are too expense for the gains produced.
