Default Definitive belt size for Unorthodox Crank pulley??

I searched through about 4 pages of threads and couldn't find a definitive answer on the correct size for the belts on an Unorthodox crank pulley!! It seems that some people say ot get a 44.0" belt and a 35 7/8" belt, some say get a 44.5" belt, some say a 44 1/4" belt. Which one is it? The Unorthodox website says a 44.25" belt, but I have heard they are wrong. I don't want to go out to get a belt and then have to return it because it didn't fit. Can someone please verify the correct size belts, both the smaller one and the bigger one so I only make on trip? Thanks a lot in advance.

Dennis

Have you bought it yet?

If not go to Concept Z and they sell it as a package for the best price and the belts fit just fine.

I don't know what to tell you, except to just try the recommneded belt size and go from there.....if it's too long, then get a shorter one. Remember that you want to leave room for adjustment of the belt at later times for maintenance. I have seen many different sizes used......myself, I used a 44.5, but others have had success with others. I don't know what the delta is in this equation, so it's mostly hit and miss. Good luck!!

Well, I already bought it from another user. He didn't have the belts with it so I am on my own with it. Thanks so far for the help. I think I might go up and try to get a 44.25" belt so that i am in between what everyone else is getting.

Does anyone know what size the smaller belt is or should I just go with what UR says???

I just installed my UR Crank Pulley last week that I purchased from Concept Z and the belts they supplied with it are as follows:
Gates Micro-V K060445 ( 21mm x 1150mm O.C.) and Gates Micro-V K040353 ( 14mm x 910mm O.C.) I have had no squealling issues with these belts at all. Good luck and enjoy the mod.

Thank you very much for the help. I guess that means the belt is 44.5 and the other is 35 1/3. I'll run to pep boys and ask them if they offer the belts in the metric sizes so I can be sure. Once again thank you!!!

Welcome to the board (I see it is your first post)!!
