No TC, No VDC...all they do is spoil the fun. As far drifiting a base....I know I slip the back end out every day on my way to work.

Anyway come on guys sliding around a corner is not the same as drifting !!! you really do need a lsd for that kind of thing.

Or maybe i dont know wtf im talking about it looks to me after reading this informative thread of thunders is you need a base pipe and an LSD (preferably the windopane kind) and a cigarette lighter to drift .....MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

Check the turn signal fluid too, while you are under the hood turning off the VDC you dont have.

I'm glad y'all make the newbies feel welcome here, and I'm glad you knew it all the instant you bought your rides.
This thread is sooooo helpful....NOT!
Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves, but I know you're not and that's what's really sad in this thread

C'mon honestly, you didn't know about all the options included with your trim line way before you bought your car? If you didn't you're not a wise shopper, some would say foolish and you deserve a little good hearted teasing.

I'm a Base owner and that's true. I was going around a corner in a big intersection on wet roads. I was going a little fast (no gas and a little braking) and the car spun 270 degrees and it went into reverse (I put the car in neutral while spinning and braking [bad idea]). It went into reverse over the curb (the rear half of the car did) and into a bus stop booth. The car parked itself perfectly in the booth and between a 45mph speed limit sign and bus stop sign. I was alright (just a little shaken) and the car didn't get a single scratch and drives perfectly.

Edit: RE040s suck. I also wish someone took pictures of me because I need a new avatar!

When was the last time you changed the air in your tires? That could be your problem. I suggest getting some high performance air.

You may also want to check your flux capacitor!

Good luck!

Its under the car...but you need a left handed crescent wrench to change it. Oh and while you're there get a can of beep for the horn and refill it.

The correct information was given twice, and quite civilly.

what IS sad is someone spending ~$26k and not knowing what they have.

And yes the rest on the thread is great...
