Default RIP: RT Casts; To cut or gut?

okay so a few of us have had the pleasure of dealing with RT Cats giving us their last breath. But as we all know, cats have nine lives, so I was thinking about what mine would re-incarnate as. Someone else mentioned that they gutted their cats. This sounds cool and simple. However, I think that the bubble might not be the best for flow. (This is me at my most ignorant state) So I thought maybe chop them and have a welder friend put straight pipes in place of the bubbles. So... anyone have any thoughts on that?

To cut or to gut... that is the question.

I understand they are bringin up the issue of proving that it was their fault, bascally putting the burden of proof on you, this can be reversed, if they say "how can you prove you didnt break it due to a bad mod or mixture" you say "how can YOU prove it didnt break due to inproper manufacturing?"

You push hard enough, escalate, send a certified letter, and you should get them replaced. Tell them youll send the old ones back so they can investigate it to be able to prevent it from occuring to other customers, its only in their best interest to do these things.

Gut them, its easy......... Take a wood type hole saw on your drill and chip away at the cat material. Takes about 20 mins a side.
