i have the injen angle tip exhaust...ive been getting a little raspy metallic noise comming from my right resinator. you dont hear it at idle but around 3k you can hear it alot. it really pisses me off. when i banged the resinator with my hand you can hear something clicking around so i know theres something in there.

this happen to anyone?

 

Do your Helix SS Test Pipes have resonators? The reason i'm asking is that most or all test pipes will create a raspy sound from 2.5k to 4.5k rpm range. You can do a search for raspi sound. You will see what i'm talking about. Good luck.

 

no no no, its not that...i had that raspy sound when i had my stock exhaust. theres def something in my resinator on the injen

 

I've heard stories of fiberglass shooting out of those pipes, lol, the construction of the resonators could be questionable too. You might want to have that looked at in case it's comming apart.

 

i took the pipe off today...and i tried to shake it around but nothing came out...its still in there. im gonna bring the pipe to mieneke tomorrow see what they can do.

by the way...i started the car with the test pipe exposed only..and WOW its ****en LOUD...lol
