I have been using Mobile 1 for about 1 year (most of my heavy tracking days) and I have not had any issues. I do change it at least twice during the racing season.

Dose anyone have any other success stories with gear lube? How about additives for the LSD to make it quieter?

There is a noticeable difference between dino and synthetic gear oil in LSD's unfortunately you will have to flush out the old synthetic stuff and refill with dino before feeling this...

Nismo gear oil and LSD oil is not the same. Most people don't know the difference but the LSD oil is dino and has different additives than the Nismo gear oil made for manual transmissions and VLSD's.

As I stated before, these are my oppinions and are based on my past experience, and that of others I know. Just trying to help

I was referring to the oil I got with my diff (as shown in this pic). Which oil is this? Can you further explain why dino oil is better than synthetic for clutch types lsd's?
