KRYLON (InFusion). It is a paint made for plastic and rubber. Paint is flexible, and will not crack. No problem handeling engine bay heat.
Total cost = $9.50
wow that looks great!!! I am going to have to try that! Is it a spray paint? You just taped it off, sprayed it on and it came out all glossy like that? How many coats?

Yes it is spray paint.
I put two coats on.
Taping the engine cover took about an hour or so.

Reggie:
I have had my paint on for over 6 weeks.
Probably 2,000 miles or so.
There has been absolutly no discoloration.
The pictures I posted are from today 8/17.
I don't think any of the surfaces I painted get close to 120 degrees.
I am impressed you called KRYLON!!!!
yea, i called them to make sure because this is something that i want to do. What about the part of the engine cover that you didnt paint. Does that get hotter than the area that you did paint?

All of the pieces that I painted can be touched at any time, even with engine running. At best they feel warm. Not hot.
The engine cover does not get hot, warm to the touch. Definately not anywhere close to 120 degrees.
I have the chrome Nismo oil filler cap. That does get hot to the touch.
Hope this helps.
