99.99999% chance its bs... think about it this way, it is REALLY REALLY hard to squeeze hp out of an NA 350Z. Its just really expensive. If we could get a 22hp boost for $22 then i guarantee every single Z in the united states would have one. No one NA product (that i know of) can produce 20 real hp.

i guess all im saying is ITS BS!!!

by the way welcome to the forum

you should really do some research before putting stuff in ur car. This i can guarantee u is total and complete bs.

dont do it!

Ill sell it to you for 3cents. literally. its a resistor to fool the car into thinking there is less air, it compensates with less fuel, lean condition. more power.

unfortunatly, very bad for the engine. but it is literally a 5cent resistor inside a black plastic box with wires out each end.

put this in the same pile as the tornado, and the magical fuel magnet that somehow effects a non polar(meaning non magnetic) carbon compound.

it is funny that on that link it says, "The Z1 Module isn't in stores yet!"

that is because no store is stupid enough to stock that damn thing

btw, Jasonc410 welcome to the forum. seriously, i have no idea if that thing will add any power. usually though, as you know, if it sounds too good to be true..... still, as zectasy stated, it would be cool to see someone actually dyno that thing. just a bit curious.

there are a couple of threads bashing the AEM for its design and all.

like this one :https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=68865

If money is no option i would recommend the Injen cold air, but if u want a great intake for half the price go with the Jim Wolf Tech Pop CHarger. the Injen is like $270 while I got my pop charger for $105 shipped. The difference is that the injen one replaces the entire cold air system and looks cooler, while the pop charger only replaces the airbox and not the pipe. But the gains (if any) are hardly noticable so ur prolly gona do this for sound. I haven't herd the injen, but the pop charger roars like an animal at WOT.

gl and enjoy

SURE! I'd be glad to help on anything I know. The popcharger I got was from www.ultimateZ.com. (its under intake for the 350z).
Its $100 and then about 5 or so dollars ship depending on ur location.

About the grounding wire. I got it from www.z-xtreme.com in Red, the creator of the product is under the name of insaneamine so if u want to hit him up for more info. It was about $75 if i recall correctly. The main reason why I got the kit was to improve my idle as it was horribly rough. I would get some popping noises and the car would shake a little. Nissan's fix for this is just raising the idle rpm to a higher level which i though was a stupid way to mask the problem instead of fixing it. After the install (which took like 20 min) my idle was very smooth. There are a bunch of things it supposedly can do such as brighten up ur lights a bit, give u like 4 or 5 hp , improve exhaust fumes, cleaner burns, and such which are HARDLY noticable if they even happen at all. Anyway, besides the smooth idle the only other noticable improvement is a slight yet noticable smoother acceleration from 3k-5k rpm.

If you want to read more on how it actually works and such go to http://www.z-xtreme.com/GroundingKit.htm

There are other options out there for grounding kits, but those are very expensive and I dont know if its actually worth paying more for those. InsaneAmine's grounding kit was very well done and its not a HUGE mod that requires lots of brain power so i dont see a reason to shell out a couple hundred dollars for the other options out there.

This is just what i know. I am not an expert modder as I was in ur position only a couple months ago considering how i got my car in may. I will be more than happy to answer anymore questions to the best of my ability if you want to pm.

Good luck and WELCOME TO THE OBSESSION!!!!
