What did Brown deliver today?
Thats right! Its a whole rebuilt rear end with 350EVO 3.917 final drive the NISMO LSD & finned diff cover, from 350EVO.com
I'm doing this work myself with the car on stands, & I'll tell you it's a *****. The weekends are just not long enough, after getting all the other stuff that needs to get done around the house, I did not get started on the R&R of the unit until arount 9:30 last night. I need to get a second set of open & box end wrenches to properly work on those nuts & bolts for the drive shaft & rear axel shafts. Any way as you can see I got the OEM unit out, without to much trouble. I do not have a proper or small enough jack to support the pumkin without the jack & me fighting to get ahold of the diff so I had to muscle the unit out by hand with me laying directly under it & letting it rest on my chest. I tried about 5-6 times to get the new unit in by hand I just could not get the damn thing forward enough to clear the rear mounting stud & stick it in the mount. My arms could not try any more. So tonight I will try to figure some other way to support it while trying to raise it into position. It'll get there.

You can actually leave the 350EVO rear sway bar in the car for installation of the rear housing. You can then rest the front part where that attaches to the drive shift on the sway bar....then concentrate of getting the rear peg in the subframe ... then lifting it up.
