yah i tried that trick, it would just slip

ima tighten down the tensioners and try it with an impact gun trmw

So did you ever get this off? I have an 06' too and tried the other day to take of my OEM crank pulley and that **** is locked tight. I gave up too and I'm contemplating on selling my new OEM size lightweight crank pulley from Stillen; I would rather install it though. I'm concerned with the stress I put on the crank pulley, will this have any negative effect on the car? I did both the ignition method and breaker bar method..... no success yet.

Did anybody figured out the torque spec for the pulley?

Figure out? How about using the FSM recommended procedure. 35 ft-lbs on the nut THEN 60º more.

glad I seen this write-up to help me out when I tackle this project next week. Just ordered my UR underdrive pulley set. Can't wait til it comes!
