Default 2005 350z Axle Noise

Just throwing a write up out there to help others whomstdve the same issue.

The Video of the noise i recorded is here:

The TSB PDF is here:
http://www.notre350z.com/forum/files...ClickClack.pdf

I originally used JJS350ZED's guide to diagnose this issue but changed a few things myself as well as it seemed my noise was much worse.

So to begin,My process was as follows;
1.Jack up car,and place jack stands underneath, making sure to allow enough room wherever you place the Jack Stands that you can pull the rear Axle out.

2. Remove Rear Wheel from which noise appears to come from.
[5x21mm Lug Nuts][Torque spec 80-91]

3. IMPORTANT-Mark a line on the Rotor and Axle that lines up,IE 12 o'clock on the rotor, 12 o'clock on the Axle. You will need to reinstall the Axle at 180 degrees from when you took it out.

4. Remove Cotter pin from center Nut,Axle Nut
[Used needle Nose pliers for this][Youll want to replace the cotter pin]

5. Remove Axle Nut
[32mm Nut][Torque Specs 177ft/lb]

6. Start Removing the bolts from the Axle/Differential flange
[6x14mm][Not sure of TQ Specs,3 UggaDuggas]

7. Use a Punch in the center Dimple of Axle to tape the Axle out of the Hub

8. Once you have the axle in your hands use a wire brush and some WD40 to clean the splines off of the Axle and in the Hub

9. Take some Molly based grase and slather it on the plate that meets the Hub Assembly when the axle is installed.

10. Apply locktite to the splines on the Axle, Yes the splines

This video is not mine

11. Reinstall the Axle 180 Degrees from which you removed it,If your previous line you drew on the rotor was at 12 o'clock, Reinstall Axle so its line is at 6 o'clock.

This is my first thread here and I hope that it at least helps someone else to solve the same issue i had because tracking the noise down, and replacing many parts trying to fix the issue only to find out the axle just needed to be serviced.
