Arrow Sikky LS swap with boost

For some the LS swap might be enough, but at 6,000 Ft it needed to be force feed. I didn't want a screw or roots blower, and I didn't want to mess with rear mount turbos and the oiling nightmare that comes with them and since no one makes anything else I designed and built this setup. I have over 1,000 miles on this setup and it is my daily driver. It started with a Vortech V3 Si and made 650 at 7 psi boost, now I have a Paxton Novi 1500 on it and have not had a chance to strap it to the dyno yet.

This is the LS dyno graph and the VQ dyno graph lol, there is a little more torque with the LS. I had a Vortech V-2 Ti on the VQ with a wastegate set at 17psi.

Myself and a co-worker did the swap over about a 2 month time span. I had most of the big parts from another swap I was going to do but sold the car, so they had to go into something. The swap is not bad to do, fitment wise there was just an issue with the 1 7/8" headers. To me it seems like Sikky made the 1 3/4" headers fit great, but 1 7/8" headers are off the same design with slightly bigger tubes and they hit on the steering shaft and the starter boss of the bell housing. Both issues where easy to fix, I just marked the steering shaft and pull the header and pressed a small dent into the tube and no more issue. The bell housing is almost 1/2" thick where it was touching so I just took about 1/8" off and no more issue. Everything else fit perfect and I would use the same swap kit again.

The motor is a LS1 5.7L with stock rods and pistons, supercharger spec cam, and ported 243 heads.

Yes I used the C5/C6 Corvette accessories and balancer. I wanted to have the most room I could for the blower and airfilter to clear the fans and radiator, plus I think the corvette accessories look nicer than the GTO or F-body accessories, plus I can put a flip drive belt setup on it for a corvette and then run a dedicated 8 or 10 rib belt for the supercharger.
