Ultimate car for me would be the 70 GSX.
Anyway, I hope you get that Z back in action by next summer. I've got an awesome route picked out for a spring drive.

Sounded like it was giving you issues and I was going to "help" take it off your hands. No need for the volks...I have my own. See avatar.
Cant wait to see this thing done. Looks sick.
Actually it's not...
This real Do-Luck cost me 1800+$ and took 10+ months to get from intense 6 years ago.
With all the **** I went though. I will never sell the FB. Not to mention it's the best looking front bumber for the Z(in my opinion). The stock FB wouldn't fit or not fit just the same.
But thanks for the complements

So in preparation of having the twin turbos out in front of the engine bay I decided to cut some holes in my hood. for the heat
I used a 2' cut off wheel a dremel and a hand file. pretty easy just go slow.
no adhesive's, here is what I did.
I flipped the hood to work on the engine side first.
I used a magic marker and when along the inside of all 4 ribbed area's with a slight angle. The angle was used so with the hood closed you wouldn't see the 2nd edge. Now with that done you've created 2 edges and a small gap in between the top layer of the hood and the reinforced brace thing. I just worked/wiggled the mesh in between the 2 gaps. I had some screening laying around for front bumpers,I want to say I got it off ebay. I tried going to a hardware store but no luck.
What I did when cutting
Start cutting an half to inch(depending how comfortable) all the way around with a 2 inch cut off wheel. Then with a dremel(sanding disc) and hand file you can make it look real nice

lol, yeah it wasn't that bad.
know what scared me was installing the APR gt300 wing. Dilling holes in the outside of the hatch then taking a hole saw so I could get my fingers in the inside to tighten the mounting hardware down. with the hood you can find templates and what others have done but when it comes to installing a rear wing nothing...
Thanks.
Yeah those real deals cost way too much. But fit like a glove unless you start messing with stuff.
Those speciality parts aren't ready to order when I ordered mine I to wait for it to get made because company's are already onto the next year/model they don't make money making old molds.
So I had to pay them then when they got around to it they made it from a mold. Shipped from japan. And of course there's shipping containers and customs and of course miss-haps. 8 months down the road they tell you your FB was broken/craked in customs and they have to send it back and make a new 1. Fawk almost enough do get you back in a domestic... Almost.
I bought a Vertex FB, sold it to a buddy once the Do-luck FB showed up. But I was very happy with it. Fit and finish was good on the vertex.

Royal T, no sorry been real busy. I will try and get some of those pics. I should have took more pics before I started putting in all the lines(coolant/ fuel/oil-drain-return) what looked like a lot of room has quickly shrunk.
I can tell you piping it's 2 1/2" to and from the 6266's goes back to under motor where it meets up with 3' duel exhaust alot of the piping is from Vibrant.

Ok well I got a bunch of stuff done.doesn't seem like a lot but it adds up fast.
Fuel/oil/coolant lines have been run.
Catch can, remote oil filter, drive shaft.
fuel regulator.oil dip stick.
