Tall boy plenums are no longer being made by APS. They have mentioned doing a special production run of them for us but we haven't made a decision yet on that. If anything comes up I'll be posting information, but as of now we do not have any and will not have any.

 

i would want to pick one of those up too

 

Again, as of right now APS plenums are like chupacabre and the Easter Bunny. If you claim to see one I want to see pictures of it and molds of the footprints.

We are in contact with APS today about what it is going to take to get a batch of them made. I'll keep everyone updated when we get answers from them. But even if we are able to get them back in production we are looking at weeks to months before anything is in hand here in the US.

 

Only 2 single turbo kits are left, once they are gone there will be no more. We're expecting the new shipment of Tuner kits, Extreme kits, and Twin kits to arrive this week. Possibly as early as Wednesday. Those of you who have paid for those and are waiting you're wait is almost over.

For the APS twins, whats the difference between a regular kit and the tuner kit? I know EMS is not included but what else.

 

Tuner kits do not include EMS or fuel system upgrades. The tuner kit also uses a remote wastegate set up and includes the Tial wastegates and piping for this set up, those are not used with the standard TT kit.

 

so remote wastegates as appose to internal wastegates on the regular kit? Any advantages to either wastegate setups.

 

Does this mean APS is stopping the kit or you guys aren't gonna sell it anymore??

 

APS has already discontinued the single turbo kits. The 13 that we got in (and 2 remaining of) were the last ones that APS had in inventory. When these are gone there are no more unless you find one sitting on a shelf somewhere.

 

From what we've seen the Tuner kits are capable of more power with the proper fuel and engine management. The Tial wastegates are stronger than the internal set up used on the standard kits.

Ok thanx. ill be buyin one of your tuner kits soon, in probaby couple of weeks. Also, with the tuner kits, can you give me more info on the turbos themselves.

 

I really don't have any additional info on the turbos at this time. They are a Garrett sleeve journal design turbo that was built exclusively for APS based on their specifications.

 

APS True Dual 2.5" exhaust $900 shipped.......REALLY. That is not a typo.

 

Still have 2 single turbo kits left. I have 5 or 6 people asking about them but they haven't ordered yet. If you want one of these act now, they may not be here tomorrow.
