Update-

I just wanted to let everyone know that the sale is still running.

 

I just purchased this exhaust from another member and had it installed today. My mechanic said it was one of the best put together exhausts he has dealt with. I am running FI test pipes and have ZERO rasp. Great exhaust.

 

I ordered the FI catback directly from Tony last month. I spoke to him directly on the phone. He was a pleasure to deal with. He answered all my questions and was just an all around nice guy. Within 20 minutes, Tony had the work order written up. You really can't beat his price. I live in Canada about 40 minutes from the US/Canada border. As per my request, Tony shipped the exhaust to my US postal carrier and I was able to pick it up from there when it arrived.

I had my local shop install the exhaust in about 1 1/2 hours. All I can say is WOW. This exhaust sounds better than anything I could have ever imagined! The videos on youtube do not do it justice. I was looking for a catback that retained the sound of the VQ engine and is only loud when I want it to be. The FI gave me exactly what I wanted. It gives the car so much presence and *****. It has such a sexy unique tone which still has the VQ engine sound. When I have the rpms low, the car produces a nice low rumble which is reasonably quiet. And when I hammer the throttle, the car just roars.


A week before I had the exhaust installed, I had put in the MREV2 and the 5 1/4" spacer. But it wasn't until I had the FI installed that I really noticed a performance difference. The car just feels so damn good when I step on the gas. I mean I can really feel the power under my foot. That sexy, smooth tone had me driving with the window open in the rain just so I could listen to it. Not only does the exhaust sound amazing, it looks incredible. I think it's a work of art. All I can say is Thanks Tony!

Tony, is there any difference in sound b/w the aluminized steel and stainless steel? I live in Michigan (rust belt), but I do not drive the car in the winter. I sent you a pm as well. I checked your site, but the page regarding the differences is still under construction. Thanks!
