Since I have an 04, do you know what kind of wideband would I need to buy to log & tune properly with this cable?

Thanks!

You cant just buy wideband o2's from an 05 model an plug them in to the 04 cars. They use different pull down circuits.

you will need to get a wideband like the Innovate LC-1 setup, or the AEM Uego

I assume that then I can connect that to the laptop at the same time as the cipher cable for logging and tuning purposes.

OP, sorry if this feels like a thread jack, but I just needed to figure out everything else that I will need to be able to purchase and use your item.

If nothing else, it's a free bump, right?

You assume wrong. Even with an aftermarket wideband you need to be able to log afr along with rpm and then compare those logs with your cipher logs. Its pretty rediculous.

Depending on your year some came wideband some didn't up rev software works with innovate widebands and there's no need to bring in 3rd party software. You can 3rd party if you don't have innovate wideband but why? Also tuning na on up rev is stupid simple a cave man can do it. Bump for legit deal

Default 2004.5

Well, I just checked my VIN number, and I was surprised to find out that I have a 2004.5 and not a 2004, so I believe that mine should have the wideband sensor built in. I think that means that I would be able to tune with just this cable alone?

I'm going to try contacting Uprev tomorrow to confirm this.

You should be able to tune with just the cable then. I have an 04.5 and do the same thing. You might have to pay uprev $50 to transfer the tuner license to you.

It sounded like this cable has never been used and that I wouldn't have to pay the $50 to transfer the tuner license. OP, can you confirm this?

I believe you mis-read. he said cable is 200. with tuner is 700. I believe he was just trying to make sure this included tuner and was not just the standard cable.

Wow......THREAD CRAPPING AT ITS BEST!!! keep your unhappy broke asses off other peoples threads. These things sell like apple products they hold value and this is a BRAND SPANKING NEW CABLE dont hate on someones item cause you think its expensive. It requires NO uprev call for license transfer fee. its never been married to a car give the guy a break.

Also this is the ONLY vendor selling and its 700.00
