I finally got my stroker in so am selling the old motor. It was replaced by Nissan just under 30k ago. It started using oil at 18k but the 12k warranty was out.

It took me over a year to get the new motor in and during that time the consumption went down. I'd say currently it is using 1/2 a quart per 1500 miles.

With all bolt ons and an AP exhaust the motor had 271/262. 12/1 with a quieter more restrictive exhaust it had 261/247.

This is the comparison dyno I got yesterday. The lower numbers are the motor that is for sale.

There is nothing wrong with it now. It was using oil (while running great) after I spent a fortune for a new motor it stopped using oil. I believe you would need a different computer since it was in an MT alone and also because it is a REVUP.

At least you need the REVUP cam sprockets which are not included because I used the ones it had as pictured.



I have the chains and all of the other timing components.

 

So it still burns oil?

 

Since about March it has used less than half a quart between 3-4,000 mile oil changes.

The only sensors that are included are on the cam sprocket covers at the front of the motor. The cam sprockets are not included.

Hopefully this will clear up any confusion.

This is a complete longblock, minus cam sprockets and a few timing components. (guides and maybe a tensioner)
