Default JE Forged pistons and head gaskets

Brand new forged JE Pistons and OEM head gaskets. Buy the pistons and I will throw in the gaskets for free.

I Have had these forever and was going to use them in my build but I got a deal on some Cosworth goodies instead. 10.5:1 compression, 95.5 bore...$550 local or $568 shipped.

OEM head gaskets....$30 local or $38 shipped for both

I've tried doing research on forged pistons for a FI build, but i can't seem to get a straight answer. There's 9.7:1, then these. I believe theres an 8.X:1 as well. What's the trade-offs and pro's/con's?

higher compression promotes greater effeciency but it limits boost due to detonation.

If you are going to run a lot of boost, the lower compression handles it better. These are 10.5:1 which I use for my HKS Supercharger since boost isn't over 10psi. Runs safe. If you are over 16psi, go with lower compression in the 8 range.
