This is a short block from my 04 roadster automatic Z. Got pulled apart to build the engine the same time as the turbo kit got put together.

This thing will work you just need heads. If you want, if you buy the thing and pay for it I can get it decked for you. The heads came off very clean and didn't need to be machined although I had them decked just for a better seal.

just curious, why didn't you send this block back to get your core charge back? Or does it not work that way with whoever you bought it from.
I originally bought a spare shortblock so I could keep my oem engine in car until I was ready to put it all back together, but that spare (96k miles) opened up a pocket when dynosty was machining the cylinders and I didn't have the time or the resources to pull this one out at the time.
