Ferrea 1mm Oversize Comp Plus Valves kit & OEM injectors
So, decided to go a different direction after I literally JUST bought this entire set-up. Bought half of it from ttreber ont he forums here (great honest & knowledgeable guy), and half from Ferrea directly. Took these pics yesterday when I was debating what to do, ignore the uprev. I am leaning on going towards JWT C8 cams, for a low-reving NA application. This kit is more suited to high-reving (8k+) or high-boost applications. Spring rates are relatively similar to the Brian Crower single valve springs, and according to the BC tech, this setup will be suitable for both their stage 2 or stage 3 cams. I am not an expert on this stuff, just called various camshaft manufacturers and did a bit of reading.
NEW Intake Valve Seals #VS1014 $2.34/ea = $28.08
NEW Exhaust Valve Seals #VS1012 $2.45/ea = $29.40
NEW Steel valve lock #K10069 = $6.03/ea = $144.72
NEW (Open Package) Titanium Retainers #E11079 = $19.60/ea = $470.40
NEW Seat Locator #SL1065 = $5.98/ea = $143.52
Used apparently in test engine, but like new 1mm Oversize Comp Plus Valves F1563P & F1565P
$46.24 & $33.09 ea respectively $554.88 & 397.08 = $951.96 new
Used apparently in test engine, but like new Dual Valve Springs S10103 = $27.44/ea = 658.56 new
Valves & Valve springs are in mint condition.
If purchased from Ferrea new directly this would cost $2426.64+tax+shipping.
Similar kit, not sure if exactly the same part numbers from Import Parts Pro costs $1600 here.
Asking $1120 for everything, or if I don't get offers shortly, I will be returning the Valve seals, locks & locators to Ferrea, and only selling the Titanium Retainers, Dual Valve Springs, and 1mm oversize comp plus valves for $750.
