Hey guys I'm newer to My350z but not newer to the forum world. I have several accounts on other forums like NASIOC etc where i have great seller rating under the same username as here. (Just wanted to clarify that because i don't have a seller rating yet on here)

On to the motor information,

I picked up a complete 07 350z motor off of Source One Automotive here in Cincinnati,Ohio to build for my buddies 06 Touring. Paid 1000$ for the motor blown up with 36,800 miles on it. Idk exactly what happened to the motor i just know that when i took it apart the wrist pin was broken. I saw the motor running before it was pulled I thought it was a bad guide when i heard it. It sounded like marbles being shook in a jar. Oddly enough no check engine like on the dash and car still ran pretty good considering Whitey the tech there didn't exactly know what was wrong with it. I purchased the motor and was gonna build it for a friend like i said. Once i started rattling off numbers (machine work and assembly, pistons, bearings, rods etc) He was pretty much over the amount of money he was going to have to spend. So at this point i am just looking to part the motor out and make some cash back and build a solid relationship here on another forum.

Everything other than the exhaust manifolds (that are from an 06 GT) have 36K miles on them.

Being as how you said the wrist pin looked busted, would you mind taking the heads off and insuring there's no damage or bent valves?

 

yea I can do that no problem. I just had them bolted together cause it was easier to store ad keep the heads safe.
