When was the cable purchased? Was a base tune ever setup?

 

No one is going to pay $475 for this. A more realistic price is $300~350.

There is no tuning included for second hand cables, it does not matter if its used or not. Etuning is is linked to the original purchaser so whoever buys this will have to pay for tuning support. Cheapest you can get etuning is at least $150, Uprev charges $250.

I won the cable in a raffle at zdayz. Never used and has a tune linked to the cable (requires data to be sent in). This is the exact thing for sale on their website.

Also, you can see there is a tune linked to the cable... it was never used. This is for all intents and purposes, a brand new cable.

 

No its not. There is no such thing as a tune "linked to the cable". All that is on the cable is the Osiris license, which does you nothing without tuning.

It doesn't matter if its brand new or not, Uprev will NOT provide etuning for free unless you purchased it directly from them; they require you to submit your order # for verification. Also the included etuning is only valid for 1 year from purchase.

Just trying to save you the hassle of a pissed off buyer who thinks you scammed them

 

Per osiris: "Osiris Standard includes: 1 Interface Cable, 1 Osiris Re-Flash license, 1 Base Tune, and 3 eTune adjustments. Osiris is a Windows-based software; you will need a Windows-based laptop that runs a full version of Windows (Windows 8 or newer only) for flashing the Base Tune and for data logging."

To ensure there is no issue to the buyer I've emailed my contact at osiris.

They don't have any base maps preloaded, you would need a tuner to create one for your specific ECU

 

So does this also require you going somewhere and getting it put on a dyno?
just trying to figure in all the cost this will entail.
